I've only had my v200 2 days and i'm getting really angry with trying to link it to my pc. I've tried 3 different computers with different operating systems (ME, 98 and XP PRO) and i'm getting the same result from each.
After installing the easyGPRS software i shutdown the pc, connect my phone and re-start. When i run the software it just acts as though the phone isn't connected. The phone is connected and i've got a white screen showing on it.
I've tried earlier suggestions of changing the COM ports (on all 3 pcs) and that doesn't work either.
Could it be i've got a dodgy lead or am i overlooking something really simple.
Please help.

Hi there
We are aware that there are issues with some of the software discs
Have you tried downloading the newest version of the software.
If not go to samsung.com
then go to products, mobiles, GSM, support
your file is second from the bottom on page 2.
Cheers

If you have found an answer please post it! I'm frustrated and having the same problem. The Easy Gprs will not find my phone. I only have the option for Com1 under setup and I am using a serial data cable?? Is there another program for uploading ringtones and pictures for the Samsung phones?

D'oh
I knew it had to be something simple.
I re-read the instructions and realised the phone had to be switched on.
My last phone was a T100 and downloading ringtones and pictures was done with the phone switched off.
and once more
