Hi everyone I just got a new T-Mobile to go phone (Motorola v300) and it comes with 60 minutes of starter time. For some reason these minutes are being gradually used up even though I havn't made any calls yet. Does t-mobile charge minutes for signing on to AIM or checking account info on tzones? Also, where on the phone does the headset plug into? Thanks in advance.

Did you do any IM with AIM?? that would come of the balance that your prepaid phone carries therfore reducing the amount of min you can use. As far as the headset goes I believe the plug should be on the top of that model of phone.

You will get charged for logging on aim and receiving IM, your prepaid so you kind of need to look at it like this... You have a monetary balance on your phone, whenever you check your voicemail, makes calls download anything, send/receive IM, send MMS etc... you are reducing your account balance. And because T-Mobile prepaid services quote your balance in Minutes it seems like you are using airtime yes. If you had a postpaid account using sms or IM wouldnt take away from your airtime.
