i bought an E600 from ebay.. and the phone shows 'No service'
i thought the phone maybe blocked ..so i changed imei .. but it still shows 'No Service' so i chnaged the imei back.. i dont think its blocked.. i have tried different sim cards and flashed with a 47mb flash using optiflash.. still no luck.. can anyone help??
do i need to do a 'full flash'? if so where can i get it from?

No Service means no signal!, are you getting signal in your old phone?? I would try manual network selection. Let me know if that clears it up.

Try the manual network selection, then power cycle. Unfortunately thats one of the huge prob with buying off ebay, NO warranty, may be in good cosmetic condition but defective internally. Let me know if anything shows up for an available tower when you do the network selection.

i have tried manual .. adn it says searching for network.. then says 'no service' again...
so theres no software out there that would fix this then?
looks like its going back on ebay then

I would first contact your service provider and see if they have any additional Troubleshooting steps that may help you out. Good Luck!
