Yes, I got suckered into buying an LG phone, the VX 4500, with the owner manual written by the techies who would never use it. Can anyone tell me how to change the clock time on it? The manual, and the CD that comes with it, tells us how to select a world city, or display for the clock, and other non-practical instructions, but apparetntly thinks no one will ever have to set the time.
By the way: I figured out how to check my vice messages--the instructions in the manual are wrong. But who would ever want to check their voice messages anyway?
It is amazing such a large company could be so clueless!

If you make a call, it will automaticly update the time as well

I have an LG VX6100 and cannot set the time for DST either! I am frustrated! Actually, the phone keeps changing back and forth from one hour to the other. I've made a call, I've powered on & off, I've re-programed (*228 on Verizon), and I've taken the battery out.
So, disgusted is not alone, what gives?

yah, i'm running into the same problem ... the time switches back and forth. it is annoying.
i shot an e-mail off to Verizon Wireless and plan to call 'em tomorrow morning. but i don't know if they'll really be able to help.
