I have a v525. When it comes to browsing the web the only problem I have is the price that Cingular charges. Are there other/cheaper ISPs available for cell phones?

Best advice....get a package. If you still don't like the prices, which are comparably to AT&T's when they were around....stick with browsing at home on your PC/Mac.
When more UMTS towers (True 3G) are put out and more devices as well, the package prices will go down. It's just a matter of time.

Honestly, T-Mobile is has decent rates for their Tzones. Is it worth it? That's for the subscriber to decide.
Their layout for their menu is horrible. Most of the time my Tzones would time out, and half the time navigating thru, some of the logos would come out as broken images.

You cant switch "ISP's" on a phone, its part of the service I agree with the above post that T-Mobile has the best rates for Data, but thats if you can actually get signal! If you want a kick-@$$ idea, (Yet it will cost some $$) I would go on an UNLIMITED data plan (I would say 20-25 dollars extra a month) and download WEBVIEWER at www.reqwireless.com - It cost 20 bucks for a serial for the software, but it makes your phone a FULL HTML BROWSER. It makes .wap sites look like old school AOL1.0-takes-you-10-minutes-to-download-a-text-file. Eww I remember those days!
