Hi
I just got a Silver D500 and had it for a few weeks now. The phones is pretty much perfect for me apart from one slight problem, which is how you can use mp3s, as ringtones but have no vibration. Now this is a major problem, form me since Ive got quite a few mp3s, which I would love to use as ringtones.
I know there is a option to have vibration go on for 30 secs, before the ringtone starts. But thats a problem since my O2 network is set up, so that after 30 secs of a person's call is switch to my voicemail.
I find it kinda stupid that Samsung, designed a phone which can use mp3s as ringtones, but have no vibrate. So there must be a way to have vibrating mp3 ringtones.
Can anyone help please.
P.S please dont say I have to convert them to mmfs.

I just dont want to use mmf files, for two main reasons: If you want real tones, you can only have a maximum of 16 seconds. And the quality of the sound is pretty low, depending whats in it. I just want straight mp3s, with the phone vibrating.

I totally agree here. This is the sexiest phone, fantastic features, but doddgy ringtones. I don't want MMF if I can have mp3 tones, however I HATE the vibrate, melody, vibrate then melody, silent option.
I had a T100 before my D500 and modified some ringtones in PSM to have the vibra function embedded in the tone. Surely if you edit the WAV and add something to it then convert it back to mp3 the phone will ring and vibrate at the same time...
Anyone here good with analyzing WAV files? Anyone who can work with Soundforge or Cooledit? Someone has to have the knowledge to be able to add this to mp3's whilst still mantaining the quality of mp3s...
Calling all sound editor geniusus!!! Give us all a hand PLEASE!!
