I've got some java games on my PC which I'd like to put on my phone once I get a data cable (which should arrive in a few days). I was just wondering how it's done, since the phone didn't seem to come with any PC software for it (only image and MMS editors).
Thanks in advance for your help~

a cable probably woant let you send those files. i recommend an infrared or bluetooth adapter. you'll see that the only thing you'll be able to do with your cable is sync your phone with your computer and maybe send ringtones back and forth. cables can't handle complex objects such as pictures and games. hey, one good thing. if you hook up with the right folks, you can use the cable to flash your phone

Really?
That cable was expensive. There's no infrared reciever on my PC, and I don't have bluetooth on it either. Don't you have to pay loads for that, and have some kinda chip installed?
Another problem I'm having, is I can't get WAP to work at all. Everytime I try to connect it says "GPRS failure". what's with that?

My BT dongle cost me $99AU. Well worth it in my opinion.
As for the GPRS problem. Go the sonyericsson website and go to mobile configurators and they can send you the config for your provider.

And I payed about 35 euros for my Bluetooth dongle from MSI. I don't think that's expensive.

I use tha data cable to download gamse, themes and rings signals al the time. You need to programs. You'll need the Mobile Phone Monitor that you can download from Sony Ericsson and the Send File program.
Good luck
