i tried flashing my phone and i clicked cancel because i had to go out then my phone couldn't turn on at all i tried removing battery and putting it back on and it still doesn't work. I then tried to flash it with my backup .sre file but when ever i do it goes half way and displays err_protocol error!!!! Can anyone help me PLEASE?????

I would try going forward with the flash that you were doing when you cancelled the process the first time. May be a problem with your firmware backup or your cable, you arent using an OEM cable right?

i dunno what cable i'm using i just know it made by momax and the cable serial number is GS-AM602 and has a male plug. I tried what you told me to do it did not work when i flash it, it gets to about 20 percent and it says err_protocol. And one more thing, is flashing illegal?? I want to take it back to my service provider and tell them to fix it for me because i still have warranty.

Ok nvm i don't get the err_protocol error (still might be temp.) anymore but now i need an original E316 SRE FILE...so i can fix my phone please. I backed up my phone wrong because when ~Don~ wrote the tutorial on how to back up i read it wrong and thought i had to delete the existing Range:
0x00000000 - 0x00001fff
and replace it with:
0x01000000 - 0x01ffffff
If anyone has the original samsung e316 .sre file please tell me.

i found some firmwares for my phone and if anyone has any of them PLEASE reply to me i really need it, my phone can't be turned on at all.
