Yes, I did get a converter but never really used it. I brought my cell over there only to tell time and to use it once I land back in the US for a ride home.
if i can read your mind properly, u bought a converter but never got the chance to use it because u chargee your fone using the Japan's 240v power source. am i right. but im sure u needed an adapter to plug in coz the head is different.
hey, which converte did u get? the 50 watts one?

I don't think the power is 240 over there. I think it is 110 or 100v. The plugs are th same as here by the way.
I forget how many watts is my converter. All I know is that the converter is made by samsonite.
