I am having difficulty in connecting with dial-up networking on my V505 via my bluetooth enabled notebook. All of the other bluetooth services work fine. The notebook is running XP pro.
When I initiate the connection:
The phone wakes up.
The connect dialog box opens on my PC.
When I press "Dial", the phone displays:
"Calling ......" for a few seconds and then goes back to the time display.
The PC returns, "Error connecting to Bluetooth Connection"

What other software are you using trying to setup Internet access?
I use mpt along with my bluetooth and it works fine. You do need to sign up for internet access with your phone provider if you haven't.

I haven't yet purchased MPT, I am using the bluetooth utilities that came with XP.

Never tried it with the BT utilites. The settings maybe incorrect.
What is your settings currently? I will check mine to verify.

I initially used all of the defaults with no luck. I have also tried various other settings ie. slowing down connection speed.
