But does not work properly.
The mobile - mobile calls some time get through properly.
When try to call from land line it says "Phone switched off or out of coverage".
Some times call gets through but the Land line caller cannot hear anything from me.
When try to call to land line from cell phone says "call failed".

You made sure you have selected the correct band for our country? Do you have RF bar on our phone menu display?

how do you choose the band for the country??? Maybe this could be a cure to my problem as well? I have a v600 I got in Hong Kong and I am running into problems using it here in Canada.

I have set the band selection to automatic,
I also tried selecting 900/1800 specifiaclly but does not help either.
Some one askedd me to do Master reset / clear, Tried doing that but doesn't help either..

if its cell phone service range then the phone shows complete range.

If all else fails as for settings then you can try to opcode the settings. That might help but I don't know. Give it a try sometime. Found in the tips and tricks if I'm not right but menu + 048263 + * gets you into the opcode menu. Try to enter it fast too because you get like 4 secs to enter after the menu is open.
