Hello,
For some reason, as soon as I go under Settings --> Personalize the Screen; It freezes, the light turns off and 2 sec later the whole screen turns off. After few more seconds the phone comes back, without showing the background picture and it says no connection.
2 sec later the wallpaper appears and so does the connection.
Damn, what shall I do? Is there any firmware update for V220?
How can I reset the whole phone to factory settings?
Please help,
Houmie

Ohhh my...
The Master reset didn't help, but the Master clear did.
I m so happy. The V220 has a serious bug though. Is there any firmware?

oh thank you so much. I am downloading them now.
Is it hard & risky to flash it? Or is it just like motherboard flashing?

There has been some bad flash from members who tried it. All I can say is make sure you know what you are getting into and how to do it.

The link you gave me has two RAR files. Both have a shx extension inside.
V220_Cingular_R364_G_0B.D1.32R.rar
R365_G_0B.D2.23R_LP002E_DRM0001_JPJAVA_G_0B_V220_06_05_54R_SE8509BXXU1 113_1FF.rar
I guess the second is a newer version R365 right?
Do I have to be worried about JPJAVA (Japanese Java?) ?
Has anyone else used these files for a V220 before?
THanks

Flashing/flexing has its ups and downs. Usually you can face a dead phone or just some features not included. Otherwise you gettaway from all the branding some come with pre-unlocked flashes and extra features. So really its a 50-50 chance youll get something you want and a 50-50 chance youll loose something you used. I say It's worth it even though I killed one of my T720's in an experiment, the otherone comes out on top each time I reflash.

I am a total noob.
1) What does it mean it is unbranded? Is it a good thing?
2) What is cingular?
3) Why was the Video feature not useable anumore? (You mean the Camera?)
4) And now everything is working with the
R365_G_0B.D2.23R_LP002E_DRM0001_JPJAVA_G_0B_V220_06_05_54R_SE8509BXXU1 113_1FF.rar
version?
5) How do I flash this, is the guide from FAQ right for the V220?
Thanks
