The custom start up and shutdown animations aren't working for me. I'm using the windows log off and log on files that I found on motomodders. I'm using xlr8's guide his site. I have renamed the files to say custwake up and custgoodbye and they're gif files, but all I get is a blank screen when I shutdown and the hellomoto screen when I start up. What did I do wrong? My phone is a V505

Well make sure you followed the directions correctly and also make sure that the file isn't either too big or the screen resolution is accurate. All these have a factor in its cooperation when the phone starts.

The file isn't big at all, it's the right size 176x220. It just won't work and I've followed every ounce of the instructions. Am I supposed to put the pics on the phone so that I can set them as start up and shut down animations?
Edit:
Well I got the shutdown animation to work but i can't get the startup to work.

try setting the shut down one as the startup also then you can see if its not just an error in the startup file. If so then try redoing the startup and then it should be all set.

I put the shutdown animation as the start up and still nothing happened. I know I've done the seem editing just right because I checked all of the offsets and they were all fine.

That's really odd then. I don't know I'm out of suggestions if you got all the hex editing done. And if the startup is the onlyone not working. Just double check if theres a size limit. If you can't go over that limit for the startup that might cause a problem.

Well I know I've done something wrong because it's obviously not working, but everything seems okay to the eye. So for right now I'm going to stop. Now I'm ready to flash my V505 with TRIPLETS_G_0B.09.4FR_reflash, I have backed up all my files and now I'm ready to flash it to make it move quicker. People told me this is the standardized flash that a lot of people use. All I need is Multi flash flex but I don't know where to find it. I have pst 7.1.1 but it wasn't in that folder. Can you tell me where to find this program, pm or email me at -edited: enable email under profile instead-, thanks.
