Just wondering if anyone had any codes for the Smasung E720, such as the unlock codes. Don't think the old ones work.
Oh, and does anyone know how to get rid of the startup/shutdown screens given by the service provider that are set on the phone? Can't do it in any of the options for this phone, a code maybe?

Oh, and is it possible to set the T9 to default when opening the sms writer/editor?

Cheers, any assistance is much appreciated.

Samsung Remote Unlock Instructions:-
1. Switch OFF your phone.

2. Put in a SIM of a different network provider.

3. Now turn your phone back on. You will see an error message saying
"Wrong Card".

4. Type *#9998*3323# in to your phone.

5. If you've entered the code correctly as outlined in the Step 4, you
shall see a screen telling you to press exit. So hit the right soft key.

6. Now you will see a Menu of choices. Scroll down and select option 7
(“Jump to Null”). As soon as you select option 7, your phone will turn
black and reboot itself. After your phone reboots, the SIM will be
recognized and your SIM will work. (Please be patient while your phone
reboots and DO NOT press any keys.)

7. Now, at your welcome screen type in *0141# and hit your call button!
This will give you a message saying your phone is Personalized.

8. Power OFF your phone and insert your original SIM.

9. Once done, power ON your phone.

10. At the SIM Code prompt, it will ask you to enter a password. Type
00000000, (that is 8 Zero's). After you enter the code, hit "ok" and
your phone should power up.
Your phone is unlocked!!!
You can now put the SIM of your choice into the phone and use it at your
will! Without ANY RESTRICTION!!!

this is for samsung e720 try it mate

All of this works to change the network from one to another but seems to always be locked to one network

Oh found out that on the E720 in the Security Settings window, if you go to Simlock it will be enabled after you do the "personalised" Code. To Disable it, select disable and enter the code 00000000.

Now you can start right at the beginning to change the network over (Ie. Type *#9998*3323# in to your phone)

Does your phone still work with the sim card you changed over to but not any other network?

If so put in the sim you want to use, then just enter 00000000 as the sim code, remember if you have a pin code on that sim card it will ask for that first. it should now say "wrong sim"

Type *#9998*3323# in to your phone
select no1 from the menu
wait ages till the phone reboots

It should register the sim network you want, but its not set to accept this network after the phone is switched off so......

go to the settings menu and select security
go to SIM lock and it should be enabled
select disable and enter the code 00000000
Switch off the phone

switch on the phone still with the sim you want to use in.
enter your pin code if requested, then enter the sim code as 00000000
It should say "wrong sim" again
Type *#9998*3323# in to your phone
select option 7 (“Jump to Null”).
The phone will reboot
type in *0141#( This sets the phone to the network on the sim thats in)

Hope this works for you.
(a bit complicated i know but it works)
