This has been answered before, but when you choose your wallpaper you get a question saying 'display text in standby' Y/N.
Just choose No.
Simple really.

The problem with that solution is that I don't get that question after I select my wallpaper. I am not sure if I mentioned this before but I have the S105 and I have heard that removing this text is not possible without flashing the S105 to the S100 and I would be willing to do this if there were some way to do this without having to buy the data cable. But as of now i have not found a way to do this without the data cable, and I am not interested in investing money into solving this issue. If anyone knows of a way to flash the s105 to the s100 without a data cable i would be willing to devote time into solving this.

Thanks

Yes you are right you will need to flash to S100.
I forgot about the fact that here in the UK we get the S100 which also includes the data cable in the box.
Not bad eh?

I want to do this as well to my s105....what is this 'flashing' all about and how do you do it?

Can it harm your phone/sim card etc.?

I have a data cable that came with Fone Data Suite software...is this sufficient?

Thanks,
Chris
