I currently have Verizon for my service but am considering changing to T-Mobile.
But after reading all the bad reviews about how bad customer service on T-Mobile I am having second thoughts.
Is T-Mobile customer service as bad as the many reviews say they are ?
Thanks.....

You have to realize that only a fraction of the tmobile cusotmers 0.00000001% are posting here, and obviously its going to be the bad stuff lol, I wouldnt think twice about changing to T-Mobile, they have great rates and as long as they have good coverage in your area will be cheaper then using verizon.
Check this out if you want to learn about volume complaints that actually mean something: http://forums.mobiledia.com/topic28511.html

Thank you for the reply.
The reviews I found were not actually on this site, but many other sites that have reviews about various cell phone providers.
Will check it out, Thanks again.

T Mobile is the best service ... period. NO, I do not work for T Mobile, never have and don't know anyone that does. I am telling you based on my own experiences and those of others I know that left T Mobile and went to Sprint, At&T, Cingular .. and have come back to T Mobile to stay.
I have been with T Mobile since 1997. I left once when I fell for a Cingular commercial. It was horrible. My T mobile service worked beautifully when I went to England and spoke back to a land line in Florida. It was like they were next door. I have been all over the United States using T Mobile and I wouldn't trade their Customer Service, connection and least amount of dropped calls for any other service.
The only time I could not use my T Mobile service was in a five mile area traveling east on Alligator Alley in the Everglades.
Get T-Mobile and put cell phone worries behind you....forever!

My friend has T-Mobile, and she always has to use my phone because the coverage sucks so bad.
I'm an avid fan of Verizon.

I'm an avid fan of Verizon. | I must tell you. I have had Sprint, TMobile, AT&T which is now Cingular and for the most part T-mobile customer service has been the best. Example. I have a phone I wanted to unlock the phone (I am in the Army) so that I can use it when I get to Germany, AT&T (when I was a customer) would not unlock the phone. Example 2. Cingular owns AT&T so I am with them now and I request to unlock a Cingular phone that I purchased from the Cingular store. .. the reps on the phone didn't know what I was talking about. told me that if I wanted an unlock code I would have to get it from the phone manufacture (which was alot o BS. Example 3 my cousin is currenly using t-mobile he purchased an extra phone (Blackberry 7100t) and gave it to me to use with my service. We called Tmobile and within 20 minutes we got the unlock code and the rep even told us about plans for prepaid overseas rates. Well after we unlocked the blackberry all I had to do was get the carrier's (Cingular/AT&T ) settings and now everything is working well. if you need any help drop me a line

This is something that obviously changes from location to location, Agreed Verizon is #1 for coverage right now... T-Mobile and Cingular are currently TIED for #2.

Consumer Report's July issue lists wireless company's complaints filed through the FCC for 2004. The categories were All, Billing, and Service.
From Best to Worst:
US Cellular, Verizon Wireless, Alltel, Nextel, Sprint PCS, T-Mobile, Cellular One, and last was Cingular. Verizon had the lowest number of complaints among all national carriers.
