alright all.. I just came across a new A630 phone.... I dont have any service with T-Mobile however.... I do have service with sprint however... but my queestion is can i use this phone in anyway to receive/call????

would actavating this phone throw any red flags up because i just found it, new in the box and never used.... the box i found it in had everything in it including the sim card and all..

please help....

You found it??? icon_squint.gif .... ok..... but anyways, if the phone is gsm and unlocked from the original Service Provider then you will be able to use it. If this is a sprint phone and any other CDMA/TDMA service providers phone then it will not work. I dont see what you have to worry about as long as the phone isnt stolen.... and then again even if it was you would prob be ok icon_ninja.gif

the phone was just found really... someone just left the box unattended for a week so I claimed it..

anyways.. no the phone is for T-Mobile I assusme because all the packaging that the phone and accessories was in had all the T-mobile crap...

but I have a sprint phone that I have been using for over 2 years now...

Cool beans then your good to go, I wish I could find a moto A630, nice phone icon_biggrin.gif, since the phone is tmobile branded then all you need to do is pop in a sim card and your set.

oh P.S thats if you have T-Mobile service.... if you do not then obviously you will need to start service to activate the phone.

can you just use the t-mobile prepaid services???
just buy pre-paid card???
do you have to turn in the phone information before using it????
