Signed up for a T-Mobile family plan contract last saturday - my local store didn't have the phone I wanted in stock (Motorola v600). They told me they'd have it in by Wednesday or Thursday, so I took a Samsung e315 (which I wanted to try out anyway), and said I'd probably be back later in the week to trade it in for the v600.
So I stopped back in today, ask if they'd gotten the v600 in yet. The same girl who told me that it'd be in this week told me that actually they weren't going to be receiving anymore v600s, but that one of the other stores in the area might still have one. So far, I haven't been able to find one. They also told me they would be getting the v330 in soon, but I only have another 8 days or so left in my 14 day period to trade it in. Not only this, but I get home from work tonight to discover that the v600 has gone down to free on T-Mobile's site, and that it appears the v330 has been delayed.
Basically, I really have no clue what to do now - I don't want to keep the Samsung e315, nor do I especially like what I've read so far about the v330 (not to mention it's supposed to cost more than the v600 was going for - which I don't want to pay). If I can't find the v600 at a store around here (and there's only one left that I haven't been able to get ahold of), is there any way I could talk to T-Mobile and get the v600 through them? I'd certainly love to get it for free...

Ck with Samsung! I am thinking you may be able to return and cancel under buyers remorse before your 14 days, and then do a new activation on the website...... Don't quote me though! The V600 if I am not mistaken is only on the web at this point.....

Yeah, I suppose that's always an option... I'll get charged for all the minutes I used at the 40 cents/minute rate though, won't I? That's gonna cost quite a bit.
Not to mention, we really can't be without phones for the several days in between that. And, we'd also lose our phone numbers doing that, correct? Because we couldn't technically "port" the numbers over from another provider...

If you are still within buyers remorse you can Cancel as a no install. Then Call 1-800-Tmobile and you can get the website pricing through the sales department. No waiting 90 days to restart service, just make sure that you have the account cancelled as a NO INSTALL!
P.S. have your credit card available to make a 100$ payment as the V600 is free after mail in rebate. (love mine )

Look if there’s a particular handset that you want and the store doesn’t have it I mean for you right then and there for the activation say thank you but I’m interest in that handset and leave
Motorola V600 is in high demand although Motorola is not one of my favorite handsets, with the little time that you have left go back to the store, ask to speak to the store manager with the service agreement in hand, tell him that you want the Motorola V600 handset but the sales representative instead offer the Samsung e315, that you want to cancel the service and turn the Samsung e315 back and go to another retail T-Mobile store that does have the Motorola V600 handset if there’s a will there’s a way, but the reality is because of demand the manufacturer can’t keep up with demands, but check other retail T-Mobile stores first to see if they have the Motorola V600 handset but it is no longer offered even for existing customers because it’s not available.
Even with talking to T-Mobile a it’s basically supply and demand the manufacturer can’t keep up with the demands of a handset new customer get it first then existing customers
Good Luck
