Read the replies. But does anyone have some sort of a copy on the computer to change the call made/sent? Some sort of template?

Now that is enough bashing of we sales folks. We are out here working hard to keep you folks having a job, maintaining customers and adding new ones so a little sympathy for those in the trenches isnt out of order. Cingular has implemented a system called CSS (Cingular Serivice Summary) that is a print out of a bill estimate as well as a walkthrough of voicemail, rate plan, fees and taxes. Yes, there are stores out there who pay only commision to the sheisters they employ, and yes these people should be avoided at all costs. But i do not think the answer is to do it over the phone or internet. I have more complaints in store about that than just about anything else. I am an authorized agent ( the largest in california, i might add) and we are paid hourly plus commision, so yes i would make more if i sold you a phone but it would be better for me to make you happy and have you refer 2 people to me, return business grows business.

The stupidest thing i've ever heard a sales rep i my dept can sell 500 phones in a month but if his call to sale ratio is really bad he doesn't get paid anything so i see a lot of calls come in "i called to ask about phones and i got these (yes i've seen this before) 4-5 phones in the mail. wtf is going on. " and you are all recommending not going to a store so try your luck. hope you get lucky going to a store or on the phone.

The CSS is a good and bad thing. I have seen where the CSS show's the secondary lines billed at the full rate plan instead of the $9.99 fee. In that case, it is up to the Sales Rep to explain what the customer will see on their bill.

So whats the joke? In case you people havent figured it out yet let me spit a lil atcha.
Cingular while not having the best cust service, pwns every other provider just on network size and strength alone. But if you want to get into specifics we can.
Mobile to Mobile calling with cingular, included free of charge with any new rollover plan , allows you to call any of our 52 million customers and never pay a cent for airtime...ever. now u can add together our two closest competitors customer base together and not have that many people.
Rollover minutes are a Cingular exclusive, that allows you to keep unused minutes from previous months for an unheard of 12 consecutive months. NO other provider can even come close to touchin that.
No Roaming No long distance. Ever. Unlike every other provider who advertise the feature, We are the only ones to truly provide it. Off network, on network it matters not one bit. No other company can even claim that one.
Our features do NOT require you to be on network for them to work. *coughINcough* or any other mobile-mobile for that matter........
So i mean really, in light off all that , where's the joke?
Maybe on our competitors. All we really need to do now is work on our CC a little. The way things keep goin we'll be number one soon enough.
