Yes it can work all you have to do is cahnge this setting:
Menu-> Settings-> Initial Setup-> 1-Touch Dial and then change it to sim |
ain't tryn to be a pain in the arse, but done that and still can't seem to "reprogram" the numbers. They are already programed, but not how I wanted it and not with the numbers I want. this phone seems to be weird that way......I'll play around wit it this weekend and see if I can screw it up

Well I don't know, for me I set the initial as phone, then checked the speed # on the contact, so Say I wan't to call Bob all I do is hold down say 4 and it dials, for you if this doesn't go through then thats just odd, unless possibly theres something else were missing, (also if this doesn't work all you have to do is remember the speed # and hit # after it. If i want to call bob and i can't hold for then dial 4# the contact pops up and hit send.)

finally fingured it out (dialing), just sux that I have to transfer the numbers from SIM to phone, but at least it works. Do you have to do the same for voice dialling? I think so, but would like a second opinion.
also, is midway all you need to upload games? I have that, PST and JADgenerator (or whatever its called).
thanx fer yer help!

I bought a Razr V3i recently. This is my first Motorola phone. The problem I am facing is, that when I change my 1 touch dial no, the phonebook entry which was assigned to that number previously, gets deleted!
So if Bob has speed dial entry 2 and I assign it to say, Jim, Bob gets deleted from my phonebook.
