1) installed the PST 6.7 (and patch) and can't get it to recognize my v180 phone when I plug it in.

2) how do I reprogram the 2-9 buttons for the 1-touch dialing feature? I have all my contacts saved to SIM and when I installed the SIM card, the 2-9 buttons were programed.

thanx

I don't remember but if you mean when you press and hold the button and then it calls the number? If so thats a settings change. I had to change mine but at the moment I don't recall how to change it.

Not sure if the V180 has it but if you go to one of your contacts and hit edit, there should be a feature call speed no. You can set your number between 2-9. Using the feature is by holding down the number.

I have tested this on a V600 by the way.

yeah, thats what tmobile kept telling me to do. I did just that but still doesn't seem to work. when I change that no., it ask me to change speed no from SIM to phone memory. say no it goes back to the speed no edit, say yes it changes it to 2, but still doesn't work.

Ok the deal is this. The contact has to be stored to the phone. If the SIM It won't work. So double check the save locations and ensure that its set from 2-9. Then from there try it. If not then I can try to find that setting I changed to make it work.

Yes it can work all you have to do is cahnge this setting:

Menu-> Settings-> Initial Setup-> 1-Touch Dial and then change it to sim

Alas he restores my memory, THANK YOU! icon_w00t.gif I've forgotten that setting was the one I did that I drastically couldn't remember. Well ya there ya go go into 1-touch dialing and change it to phone even if its already set.
