when i called they first asked me to shut my phone off so that they can send updates to my phone from their server i suppose. i am unsure what those "updates" were but all i know is my internet works and i can fianlly receive my MMS messages.

It was recommended on planetmotox.com that I go to the cingular support and do auto config for the V365, because it is an EDGE phone. Anyone want to agree/disagree with this?

Hello, I bought a unlocked V3i razr from ebay and is obviously European because of the power plug. I went to Cingular's website for solutions and for resetting the settings of the MMS and etc, and nothing... Any of you have any suggestions for me?! I have this big MMS plan from Cingular and right now is quite the waste. Do I have to flash the phone software, or is this not fixable!? Please help!

Thanks,
Austin

I have a Nokia 8801 purchased from Nokia. I was able to get onto MEdia Net and send/receive MMS, but it tells me 'response unkown' when I try to download games or ringtones, and 'subscribe to packet data first' when I try to use my phone as a modem via Bluetooth. Also apps like Opera, GMail, and google Local will not load(or just receive errors).

Any help on this? Or is this all because Cingular doesn't recognize the phone?

ok, I just got a LG CU500 today, which broke my line of nokias. the problem I am having is not being able to connect to thier internet (which isn't that important right now) or send multimedia messages (which is much more important). I had this problem with them with my nokia phone, as well. I went through all the steps both online and with customer service and both were of no help. then I went to nokia's site and they had this service where they'd send you a text with a config setup and it worked like a charm. does anyone know if lg has something like that (didn't see it on thier site) or a setup other than what cingular has on thier site that would work for me?

Hey, I just got the Motorola v360 and popped my old AT&T simcard in it (luv my old plan, N America Package) and this forum has been a blessing to get the Mmode working...but I can't send/receive picture messages. since I still have the At&T simcard (blue one) is there a setting I can input to get this to work? I can send regular ones..just not pics...any help would be great

Hello--

I've read recent posts regarding MMS settings for the Rokr e1.

I have a singapore edition and followed the steps and it was a no go for sending/receiving MMS.

Should I change 9120 to 80 like a poster mentioned etc.

Any help would be appreciated,
GJ
