I have also purchased a phone that appears to be from singapore. I've tried the settings that were posted, I cannot seem to get the Web Session name to be MMS, I have the Cingular MMS setting that I created early, and even using that I cannot send MMS. Any help would be appriciated.

Hello. I recently purchased a Samsung X495. The phone is unlocked and I have a Cingular sim card in it. The problem is, it is a T-Mobile phone and I cannot access Media Net. If there is a solution, please let me know! Thank you!

have you had luck with web sessions and mms with your phone? i also have a phone that i bought in singapore and it's a motorola razr v3. before i inputted any of the settings, i would get "gprs network not available" as a quick error message when i hit the web button. after inputting those settings listed, now when i hit the web button it appears to be going through, but then it says connecting for a few minutes, and then i get a message that says, "Data Server not available". I exit and then it says x number of bytes have transferred. So in other words it appears to start going through but then it can't for whatever reason. To edit the information there was a different directional path i had to do for the mms and web browsing settings, but everything appears to be saved the same way in the end.
It looks like at first it didn't work for you, but then you tried something different and it works alright. Could you please share what worked for you and what I may need to do? It would be much appreciated! (and anyone else who might know!
Thanks a lot,
-Brian

has anyone actually had complete success with web browsing/GPRS and MMS if they have a motorola razor v3 that's unlocked but not purchased directly from Cingular? i bought mine in Singapore and was trying to get help from the user "tryharder" but apparently he/she's no longer in this forum. this is what i wrote earlier and if anyone can help i'd greatly appreciate it! i'm getting close to having to sell my phone on e-bay if no one can help:
