I have a Motorola v635 that I bought unlocked and I can access MediaNet just fine but not send MMS messages. Most of these guides here have different menus to setup the GPRS and MMS settings but my v635 does not have a menu option to setup MMS.
Any v635 users that have sucessfully setup their MMS and know where the menu is in the phone?
The setup is done in two phases:
Phase 1:(create a web session named cingular MMS)

Have an unlocked Motorola Razr V3i, assume somewhere they would use Brit english for the menus.
I have tried to get the browser and MMS working to no avail. My settings are exactly as listed in the Cingular tutorials, except for one thing I'm sure you will laugh at me for (laugh away if you can answer- I'd rather know than worry about it!).
I don't have a Gateway IP:
What I have is Proxy 1 (and then further down where there is supposed to be a "Gateway 2" I have Proxy 2).
Now I have been using the Proxy 1 and 2 as if they were the Gateways 1 & 2. Is this correct? They act more like text fields for entry than like a dns-type field.
Any help? Advise, laughter, all willingly taken!
I love the phone so far, and I hope I can get it sorted. THANKS!
Oh, and by the way, regardless of settings I get the little GPRS connection icon on the home screen!
Done that, but the settings look a little different so will try again.
The Proxy is the same as Gateway then?
Also, this might seem odd, but with the Razr we got from Cinular (locked and branded. not the Unlocked one I have)- can I match it's settings or is there something in their software that makes the settings different?
Thanks!

Update: Just tried them both (changing the CSD Settings) and I get the no data error mentioned earlier in the forum.
Thoughts?

Ok, you'll think I am a nut.
Re-did the browser settings, and I power-cycled he phone. No luck.
Now as luck would have it, another phone I have (also a razr, but the Cingular branded one) needs to go in for Warranty repair. I had to take out my sim card from my unlocked phone and put it in the Cing-Razr so they could call me on it.
When I put the sim and the battery back into the unlocked Razr, it worked! I only even tried it again because I wanted to copy down the exact error message!
I'm so excited!
Thank you so much for all your help!
(I would kiss you but it doesn't look like there is an emoticon for that!)(Unless this works:)

methinks its going to need a flash or a flex...the device being unlocked allows you to make voice calls nbo problem... data and MMS settings software in the phone need to be reconfigured for cingular...take this question to the Motorola forum and have a peruse
