I have the same problem. I ordered my phone off the internet from a cell site and set up a new cingular account through them. They also added a media package to my order. I can't access the browser or media net either. No downloads will come through either. Cingular said it's because my phone is locked and not branded for use with most of their features, is there someone who can help me get this fixed asap. I'm so upset that I have a state of the art phone and can't even use most of the features. I can't even download ringtones or anything from other sites due to not being able to access the browser. it just comes up "page cannot be displayed"

I have a RAZR V3x Unlocked. I have gone through all of the settings, double checked them but still says "Network not availiable" when I try to connect to the internet. I know I am in an area with full coverage because I tried my SIM in another phone from cingular and it works. This phone does not show the three boxes like the others it says 2G instead any suggestion? and is the Homepage supposed to be "http://device.home>" or "http://cingular.com"?

No you don't, use the Mmode settings, search the forums, they're here, I used A blue card in my old v3 (It came out after the merger, its an orange phone only)
These are the mmode settings, but you may have to play around with it because this is how to set it up on a v551, the menus are totally different, but the settings are the same
Press the Menu Key.
Scroll to and select WebAccess.
Scroll to and select Web Sessions.
Scroll to "mMode", then press the Menu Key.
Scroll to and select Edit.
Validate the following:
Name: mMode
Homepage: http://home
Gateway IP:10.250.250.250

Click Done.
Once the browser settings are configured, please select it as the active web session:
Press the Menu Key.
Scroll to and select WebAccess.
Scroll to and select Web Sessions.
Scroll to "mMode", then press the Menu Key.
Select Set Default.

Read my above post, that is the wap and mms for ATT on the 551, follow those instructions exactly and you'll have the mms and internet working in no time
