Is changing the housing on a v400 as easy as ebay sellers claim it to be? On a scale of 1-10 how difficult is it? Also is there a tutorial on this site or anywhere else on how to do it?
I also want to buy a flashing antenna from ebay. Will this one flash when calls are made on my v400?

I'd say with the right guide changing the body is a 1...If you go blind your bound to hurt something and its maybe a 6-7, as for the antenna of course it will work, they all work it just gets that little boost and it'll light up. Just make sure they give you the adapter or fitter so you can put it on.

Ok good, just follow all precautions and be extremely careful if you have any runins with the LCD and Camera Ribbons. Pinched could cause a pain in the butt if you get my point. But you can do it with a guide because they point out all that you need. Good Luck let us know how you like the new one.

At least you guys got the guides these days. When I replaced my phone body it pinched my ribbon, not too much damage seeing as it was my first time doing it and no guide.

Yeah I can nearly rip apart a Txxx in that time. But IDK about the Vxxx series, hes pretty good. Prolly a tech for a phone company of some sort. Or a home employed tech like most of us here, mainly because we don't want to pay and because We Do Our Own Work!
