I just experienced the SunCom-Cingular switcheroo here in Virginia. Its been a miserable experience. Everyone I am talking to is saying the same thing. I raised enough cane to get out of the service and a promise from them to void the penalties, but I am still sending them and everyone else that might like to know a 5 page letter detailing thier very unique "customer service". I have to say, the customer service finally did me in as I was waiting and hoping for the phone service to get better.
Does anybody know why they charged the SunCom customers activation fees, when they were in fact taking over the SunCom customer base?

Man you should have heard the Higher up operator when I told her that I got the number off the internet "We don't post this number on the net?" I said...you don't but someone else does. Thanks for the number. I FINALLY got results.

So what happened when you call? Who did you speak to?

Thanks for posting that phone number. I have spent the last 6 mos trying off and on to get my problem fixed.
Seems someone used my home number when they got their wireless service with Cingular. They also seem to have a problem paying their bill... so every month I receive 6 or more calls from their autodialer with an automated msg telling me to pay my bill. Every call I have made has gotten me exactly no where. They can't even pass on a trouble ticket about the continued calling, because I don't have an account to reference.
So... tomorrow I will hit every department there until someone figures out how to keep them from calling me. The paperwork to file a harrassment complaint is still too much for me to go that route. Maybe next week.

That number is the number to the Office of the President of Cingular Wireless. Very friendly, very courteous, Very Helpful. But be careful though. The first person that you will be referred to will be an operator. The first thing she asked me was where I got this number. Don't let her try to stonewall you. She not only gave me the direct number to the manager of the case that I have with them but she also gave me his boss' number as well. Happy Hunting!!

I knew there had to be other people in the same spot as me! Thanks for the address and phone number. I am in hell with these people as well. I loved Suncom and never had to call them for anything. I have been on the phone with Cingular every month for the last 7 months. They are horrible. They gave me an address for Little Rock, AR. Does anyone know what that actually is? I wanted the corporate headquarters address.

Ive had cingular since at&t was bought out and i have had nothing but trouble with my bills exceeding the amount its supposed to be cinular told me today that i owe them 800.00 dollars but my bill is still screwed up...
i wont pay on it until they fix it... its been 4 months now and nothing has still been done..im calling the number yall posted right now...thanks
