I agree that you probably weren't looking for anyone to tell you that you are wrong, so when we tell you the truth, that you are wrong.... Well, you just can't take that at all, can you?

Neek, I'm not losing any sleep over this either. It's a great amusement at this point. I am this close || to starting a pool over when she'll just spontaneously combust.

You know the sign that said "Don't feed the trolls," maybe it was for their safety?

Of course you don't. Which is why you watch this thread and then outburst with cursewords and name calling whenever someone tries to respond. Like when Steva11 corrected your typo. And it's totally UNNECESSARY to do *THIS*. If you can write, and we can read, then I don't think much else needs to be done. Just, you know, don't forget your friend, Punctuation.
| Quote: | | 2nd, I was NEVER "asking for help", I found the board and was excited to find that we were not the ONLY ones having problems with the stupid company. |
I never said you wanted help. Read my post, like you do anyway; you aren't addressing anything that isn't directedly towards you. My first post clearly states that you're just looking for a reason to hate Cingular Wireless. You don't care about the facts. If we bring you another argument, you can't simply deny our counter arguments because you believe yourself to be right. That's begging the question!

Whatever makes you feel special, whatever makes you feel like the attention center of the universe.
Simply put, Rebecca, if you don't have any emotional attachment to this, if you have absolutely zero care about what we have to say, what we have to think--and everyone who argues a bloody idiot, a moron, immature, and childish--then why do you still take this bait? Why do you pretend to be so much better and so much more than all of us if you can't even be mature when someone brings up a counter-argument?
If you've already put your point across, that you hate Cingular Wireless based on a possible misconception and miscommunication, and that you have discovered this thread as a way to affirm others that you aren't the only one who hates Cingular over something "stupid" (If it were stupid, it woudln't be the focus of your thoughts, now would it?), then why is this now all such a big deal to you?

Today my mother had called cingular to ask them to change her phone number to a local phone number since she just moved. The idiots basically told her they couldn't do it because they didn't have a tower in our town. She asked for a phone number with our area code and our town didn't make a difference. They said they couldn't. She has been a cingular customer for 3 yrs but they refused. They said she should have told them she was going to move. (sure, like they were going to build a tower just for her???) They said they'd be *nice* and let her cancel her service for 1/2 price. She explained it was NOT her fault they don't offer *service* in this area (which they DO) and she should NOT have to pay this stupid fee. The lady was just SOOO clueless.
After reading through all the posts here I was VERY excited to get the corporate information and I'll be calling them 1st thing Monday morning. I will also be notifying the FCC and everyone else necessary to lodge a complaint. I've had cellphones with all the different companies and NEVER had a problem getting a phone number changed, they claiming its not *their fault* you moved is childish and I'm discussed by the moderators replies as well as the poster that claims they work for ATT. You both need to get a clue and understand what customer service is all about. We will be telling EVERYONE how HORRIBLE cingular is and making sure online and everywhere that its known. (currently my mom is online looking to pick out her new Nextel / Sprint phone)

Look we may offer service in that area your mother moved to beacuse we have a roaming partner in the area that has agreed to let us as in cingular user there system for our customer to place and recive calls. The reason we could not give your mother a local number is we do not have an FCC lic for the area to operate or system there. With out that lic we can not buy local telephone number from the FCC NPA company which controls the phone numbers nation wide.
So it's not cingular fault that you could not get a local number when it comes to assigning local phone number we also have to comply with the FCC and NPA org that control how telephone companys work when assigning new numbers. All telephone service providers weither being landline providers or wireless providers have to follow these rules that are imposed on them by these two.

I have a simple question... does anyone know what the number is for employment verification from cingular? I worked there previously, and I lost the HR number locally and of course it isn't in the phone book. The only number I can find goes to the call centers and they can't help.
