Basic Ques. is how do I proceed in contacting Corporate about the following problem?
Yeah, I found this "thread" searching for the Corporate HQ- I had very good service from Cingular Corporate- However, I did business with an "Authorized Franchize" or whatever term you have for a third party agent. They were/are liars and scoundrels, but slippery, [and have since moved on to another contract with a different cell company]. I was able to determine that the "new" phone had been been used and I returned everything to the original salesperson over her objections.
Cingular Corporate wanted "a piece of me", when I asserted that the phone had been sold before, they checked the phone number; agreed with me, and wrote a letter from the corporate office confirming those facts.
Well, I lost the letter (after I sent copies of it to the "Authorized Franchize" and their Collection Agency). This all "went down" about 4 years ago and the "liars and scoundrels", have messed up my credit score and cost me big time.
So I need to try to track this record down again, if possible. Any advice on feasibility and who to contact is appreciated.

And Yes, I have learned my lesson. Always pay fraudulent $300 fees even to Crooks, its part of the game.

Anyone know the number to Cingular Headquarters? Not Customer Care or a call center but the main headquarters or head office?

Here you go. This is the phone number to call. You WILL get AT&T's corporate operator, guaranteed. Cingular is owned by AT&T.

I have had a month-long issue going on with AT&T Wireless - a mistake on their part has generated a bill for $25,088 (yes, $25K!) - when I typically pay $400 a month.

I initially was not angry nor concerned, as it was obviously a glitch (I have an unlimited data [laptop card] plan, and was billed usage charges); however I have become pissed due to the length of time passed, and the apparent disregard from the customer service reps and supervisors.

Here is the corporate information I have located. not sure how helpful it is as of yet!

What is curious about this thread is, no matter how many times it is posted, people continue to ask for Cingular/At&t's corporate number. Of course I know this because I just read the entire thread, but don't you think that is a given considering you're posting on an already long thread? I mean come one, manuy found it and thanked people, as many found it, reposted it, and thanked people, but as many just hopped on and asked. No offense, but if you'd just taken the time to read the whole thread you'd have gotten the answer faster then asking again, and waiting for the answer.

Oh I believe it. Seems like a sticky would solve the need, but the first place would be, the customer has to be smart enough to look, instead of ask.

Cingular.AT&T has hit new lows everyday with the customer service, the plans, the costs, and everything else. When they merged, they lost THOUSANDS of customers almost over night, and they are losing them in droves every day. We currently have a $435,000 lawsuit against them for terminating our 4 AT&T stores a few months ago. We were the number ONE exclusive agent in south Carolina at one time, and was number TEN in the STATE when we were terminated.because we are gay. Of course they are denying this, but we have the proof, and had to listen to anti-gay smack from them for WAY TO LONG. I have the VP's numbers, and everyone elses, because the VP actually came to our store to try and resolve these issues, and they offered us $20,000 to 'go away and say nothing' to anyone. We laughed at this ridiculous offer, and we are planning a rally next month at one of the HQ's in the Southeast. We expect 1200-1500 people there. Just in our area, we have seen over 400 people CANCEL there AT&T service in the last 4 months because of this. Over 1800 people signed petitions to keep our store open. This will be on CNN before it's over, and we WILL bring this company down. It may be with the bad PR, or financially, but we will NEVER give this up until EVERY American knows just what this company does. there is also another lawsuit against race discrimination in Texas regarding AT&T. they may have been around the longest, but there days are numbered.

sounds like a bunch of hear say to me, an " he said this" will not hold up in ANY court, this sounds like the company nolonger needed you store and now your playing the " Its because were gay" card.

Next question every person that worked at your store was gay? So wouldnt that be your store discriminating agains who they hire?
