I thought I was the only one having big problems with Cingular...troubleshooting and customer service are terrible! When I bought two new phones, mine wasn't activiated. It took Cingular 1 day to activitate my phone, now my voicemail does not work and I spent (literally) 1 1/2 hours on the phone. Guess what? I still don't have voicemail, the rep said to bring the phone to the dealer or go without voicemail. They also owe me a $100 credit from 2 years ago, one rep said she'll mail it right out.. the other (after I was cut off) said a check was cut Feb 1st! Of course I still don't have the check. They are rotten.. horrible business ethics!!! Does anyone have the address to corporate?

Does anyone know the name of the CEO or Head Cheese at Cingular? I just need the name of whoever gets the biggest paycheck. lololol
I see the address of the corporate office in an earlier post. I just wonder if one reason it is hard to locate them is because they have so many dissatisfied customers.
Thanks in advance.

His name is Stan Sigman. I know because I worked for Cingular for over 5 years . After all my dedication I was fired due to them looking for ways to cut costs after the big buyout of AT&T. Alot of good people lost their jobs, and all the bad ones are still there.
If you want to get your way with them, tell them you will escalate the issue to the Office of the president. Then tell them you want somebody to take a customer feedback form for you over the phone. Thats where you can vent out your frustrations on the erson that refused or did not help you in any way. Believe me when I say it, those forms make there way up the chain of command very quickly.

I have been having problems with Cingular myself and calling customer no service and emailing them at customer service has produced no results. I have just found a website with a list of contacts that I intend to start calling and emailing. I still don't expect any results, but at least I can share my frustration. Here is the link if you would like it.

Here is what I have sent via email to everyone on the executive level at Cingular, it explains the one problem I have ever had with Cingular. >>Long story short, I feel that $148.39 has been stolen from my bank account via a mistake made by an online-store rep. Yesterday, I called 1-888-290-4613 to set up an exchange for my 5-day old Treo 650 that, as I was told by a tech support rep, has a hardware issue that makes it unusable. (It resets constantly, as in every 10-15 seconds) So, called to get an return/exchange set-up halfway through the call we were disconnected, called back and got a differnt rep who said my exchange was completed and I could expect a phone in upto 5 days. OK, here is where the problems starts, I checked my bank account and discovered a $148.39 charge from Cingular, the cost of the phone, I was never told of nor did I authorize the use of my card. Called the e-store number back to find out that the order had been shipped and nothing could be done, continued on the phone talked to a supervisor named Alison, who continued to inform me that she couldn't fix the mistake but that I should call customer service Monday morning, did that and was quickly sent back to the e-store reps and told they were the only ones who could help me, heard the same story as before from e-store rep named Corey and a supervisor named Bev, waited for 15 mins to talk to Bev's boss but she told me she couldn't find anyone to tell me anything different and i waited another 30 mins, while on hold I found the number for Cingular Headquarters in Atlanta, I called and asked for the office of the regional president for the Southeast, I spoke with who I guess is an administrative assistant named Lisa, she listened to my situation and took my number and said someone would contact me, I have complete faith that Lisa will come through with some help, but I also decided to contact everyone possible to try and to get this problem fixed as quickly as it was created. Thanks for your time and any help in this matter.<<
Where i found 'email' contacts for some of cingulars executives http://www.cingular.com/about/meet_us
Update 3/14/06 -- called 404-236-6000 after hours and used there voicemail system to leave messages with various executives, its real simple use the webpage above to get the names and then when prompted use your phones keypad to type in lastname firstname
Update 3/15/06 -- Called 404-236-6000 again today and asked for someone in Kathleen Dowling's office, spoke with her adm. assistant Sherry was transferred to the complaints department filed out a complaint form over the phone and was told 'an executive will be contacting via a phone call in between 2 and 4 hours'
Update 2 3/15/06 -- Recived a phone call from Cingulars "Executive Vice President and General Counsel" in regards to the voicemail I had left for him on the 14th. Really nice guy, listened to my problem had me give him the name and numbers of reps i had spoken with and said he would call and take care of my situation and then he would call me back. - I told him that I was honestly suprised that he made the return phone call himself and he said I was a customer with a problem and thats taken very seriously at Cingular and it was his job to find someone to fix the problem. Hopefully he will come through.
Update 3 3/15/06 -- Recived a call from the head of Cingular Online - offered to immediately refund my $148.39 and also $101.61 for my trouble. Needless to say problem solved. Cingular back in my good graces, National City Bank on the way out for the 10 day waiting period for funds involved in a fraud claim.

Oh I just had to join and post here after reading all the BS about cingular and their antics. How bout some fresh company policy. I bought one of those new Moto Sliver/ITunes phones. Paid 200 and established service.
All this after being an Alltel customer since they were 360 Comm. Today I tried to play a song. The list was there but no music. It kept jumping from song to song without playing the tunes. I powered down the phone and upon reboot *poof* all the songs were gone. I am very computer savvy so I know what I'm doing. I called Cingular and they said this was a problem and it shouldnt be doing that. "Lets get you a new phone right over there". They transferred me to the Returns dept for the online ordering which is how I obtained it. After repeating the story for them the first word out of the CSR's mouth was "unfortunately"....yep thats exactly what you want to say to a customer. Christ who the hell is running the Marketing and CSR dept there. I'd fire the idiot in 1 second who came up with this BS. "Sir we must charge you the full price for another phone and upon receipt of your malfunctioning phone we will credit it back to you."
Sounds like we want to make sure we get that phone back dont we???
After I trusted you with my credit card number and established an account, Cingular is not going to trust you to send that phone back that is not even working right unless they got their money first. No wonder you have the most complaints off all wireless providers. Plainly that policy sucks and so does your service. I had 4 friends absolutely dying to get one of those damn phones but....ooops....not anymore and I also have two other friends that are existing Cingular customers who wanted a Sliver as well but after learning of all this...sorry...and are switching their service. This tells me Cingular wont be around long at least under this name. I cant recommend Cingular service to anyone at all....
....There that feels better..thank you and goodnight
I got my Alltel service back and they gave me a new Razr for nothing...nothing!!!!!
Peace
