My Cell phone is not ringing...i deleted all the ringtones and pics that came with the phone..now it wont ring and the ring styles option it's working...i was wondering, can i replace the Operating System on the phone with the same one built for the v500 or can i upgrade it to a better version.
IF ANYONE CAN HELP ME PLZZ DO...ITS MY POPS PHONE I CANT LET HIM FIND OUT ABOUT IT OR I'M DEAD

In p2k you have to delete the files mytone.db & temptone.db from the audio folder and turn the phone off and then back on

Have you been through the situation b4..becuase i dont wanna mess up the phone more than it already is messed up....let me liaborate..when i select an mp3 i can hear it but when i chose that mp3 as the ringtone..it doesn't ring..and i cant make changes to the ringtones..such as ring for calls, a different ring for texts, etc...

These files will regenerate themselves once the phone is restarted and will not damage your phone. It will fix the ring styles menu

if you use PST, there were a file start~up.mp3 i think. i delete it. but if you upload a mp3 you want, also renamed to start~up.mp3 it can be work.
i dont remember where was the start up mp3 file.
can be in system folder.

I tried looking for that in all the folders but i ain find no mp3 file named like that..

directory is: V300/a/mobile/system
