I just bought a unlocked cing V551 and have a ATT acct, I do not want to switch (worse plan) and I put my sim card in the phone and works great. However, I do not have the web working, I tried putting in Cing web settings but no go, So I called to get ATT wap settings and they said it wouldnt work because I have a cing phone. Is this true or do I need to get ATT wap settings, if so does anyone have them for my phone?

Send yourself OTA settings here: http://www.cingular.com/support
Most settings for Vxxx series phones should work for any other Vxxx series phone (incase your device is not listed)

thanks everybody, i tried it and bingo, i am up. I just called the other day and cancelled my mode, what amazes me is that nobody at Att/cing ever told me to try this. I was told flat out that it wouldnt work. I guess I shouldnt be amazed at this the cs is really just pathetic.
