G'day quantum, how ya goin mate, mostly with wav. file and audio files, web hosting providers dont enable you to let you download these sort of file from your sites for simply that copyright issue, but some do let you ,you have to find out if yours does, most free hosting wont go any were near this.
And most phones wont let you use wav files for ring tones anyway, although this is the way of the future, and then were back to the copyright issue,The big record labels are already trying to corner this market.
If you convert your tone to a midi file, which is suited to most Nokia phones this will help you,but even still ,best to zip your file using winzip, then it can downloaded off any site. cya mate

The 3650 can set WAV as ring tones and I own my own webserver.
This week I will just be using bluetooth to upload and set them...so, I guess this question is useless.
But, it would be nice to set them via http download(no wap...that's useless) Right now, I can install Application and those ancient crappy midi files via http(NOT WAP) right now. You should be able to get wav as well.

Just as you said ,you can set it so you can download midi,s,you can do exactly the same with wav.
If your using a java script to do it for example, were the code says midi ,you just change it to wav and add the name of your song.wav file.I was told constantly that I couldnt play wav as background music, this is crap, all you do is shrink the wav file size ,and change the coding to wav,and there ya have it.The benefits of shrinking the wav also ,you can get more of the song in,instead of cliping it .

I just realized how stupid my question was. This is a symbian phone, I can put FULL mp3 as my ringtones. I just need the right app. Heck I have a 256MB card in it.

Wrong, the 3650 can only use wav and midis as ringtone. The 3300 is the only phone (so far) that can use mp3 as ringtone.

Have you found out how to use MP3's as ring tones or wav files?

First get all your wavs into the folder /Sounds/Simple or /Sounds/Digital. Your phone will find them and they will be able to be assigned as ringtones.
I have a problem after doing the above. I have assigned .wavs as ringtones, but the default plays instead. In the Contacts menu, I can see certain people are assigned ringtones in .wav, but they don't play - please help.

Put them just in the "Sounds" folder, that's enough for the phone to find them and use them as ringtone.
If you really have assigned them and the normal ringtone is played, you might have assigned the tone, but
a) the file is deleted/moved
b) the codec isn't supported, make sure the phone can play them (browse the gallery and try to play them)

I'm having this problem with my nokia 3650 because my wav files doesn't play as ringtone when someone calls me. Only the default midi files located on the phone memory plays as ringtones for my calls. I don't know what happened. I've checked most of the things in my phone but to no avail. Is it possible that when I reset my phone to factory settings it also brought everything back to its default state? Please somebody help me on this. I'm getting bored with this default midi tones playing when someone calls me. HHHHEEEEEELLLLLLPPPPPP!!!!!
