When I opened my cable things are similar but a few difference. Firstly no power on pin18, Instead it has the following (Left to right)
1- USB VCC (Yellow)
2- USB VCC
8 - USB GND (Blue)
11 - USB GND
15 - D- (White)
16 - USB VCC
17 - D+ (Green)
There's also a cap from VCC to GND.
The question is do I move D- and D+ to Rx and Tx, and if so which is which?

Is it possible to de-brand and unlock my phone using a bluetooth dongle instead of having to buy a cable? Basically can i flash my phone using bluetooth.
Also what do i need to backup before i flash the phone?
If i do have to get a cable does it have to be a serial cable, surely a usb would be faster?

Hello,
i have a blueooth dongle which enables my computer to be bluetoothed and when i connect to my bluetooth device (samsung D500) i have the option of using the bluetooth connection as a serial Port service. If this is possible and i select a com port for the serial service would itbe possible to flash my firmware without actually having this cable? becuase in the software i can select a port for example com port 5 and set the bluetooth serial service to comport 5 aswell. then try running the D500 downloader sofware ?
let me know guys
