I recently bought a v600 unlocked phone from ebay... ok well i have cingular... everything works fine except for the fact that this phone is loaded with mMode and not Media Net so they tell me, therefore i can not use the wireless internet even if i enter all the protocols! (SO IM TOLD) ok well i downloaded the flashing utilities thinking that i could reflash oem cingular software or something on this damn phone so i could get the browser working! when i goto use the MultiFlashFlex and i choose a flash file to use and hit start it frezes and gives me and error report message and closes itself. whats the deal. In the error log ive got

OK proved tech support wrong... as i thought... mMode and MediaNet are the same, cingular techs lie and i finally got the web settings to work for me! so any advice still on the flash freezing problem let me know thanks!

Were you in the process of flashing the phone before it freezes or you were not able to begin the flashing process?
What file were you trying to use?
You don't really need to flash it now since you can access the web? You just want to know why can't your go through the process of flashing?

yea i want to know why it froze before flashing, technically your right i dont need to flash it since i can access the web. but i was just curious now to why it wasnt allowing me to flash at all. Thnx

Hmm. Pst is working fine? Upon loading multiflash flex, did you see a prompt saying your phone is connected?
