My samsung recently stopped working so I took my friends old 6800 from him. It was originally a cingular so I unlocked it so it would work with T-Mobile.
I am unable to send text messages (I can receive them) and I cant get on the internet with the phone.
The text message problem is strange because the phone says "message sent" but the message is never received by my friends.
Can anyone help me fix my problems?
Thanks

Change the message center number.
It's in the settings for messages.

That is the first thing I checked. The message center number is correct.
I also had this same problem on another Nokia. But that nokia was originally T-mobile.
Is there any possibilty my sim card just wont work with nokias? I honestly can't understand what else could cause this problem.

There can't be no such restriction.
As I just remember: a friend of mine had some time ago the same with his 6220. We deleted all not necessary settings and restarted his phone and it worked again.
No idea why this happend ^^

I would assume there would be no restriction either. But my sim card will send text messages in any samsung I try it in, but wont in any nokia I try it in.
I reset my 6800 to factory defaults and it didnt help. Can you suggest anything else I could reset/delete to try to get this to work?
Thanks
