Hey, my dad bought himself a V551 and wants it to vibe before ringing instead of vibe while ringing. What can he do to set that.

Sad to say this didn't work for me...I tried it and it had same result, Vibe While Ringing. Any other methods to make it do 1 before the other?

Was there another option as ring than vibe rather ring and vibe in phone menu?

Usually V551's Vibe then ring,did you mod it?Also I think duceduc is right,but I haven't checked yet myself. motomodders.com has info especially for moto's and a lot for V551's

Nope, no mods strait out of the box actually, But also there isn't any option but the usual, I don't get why that is...Also IDK what happened but the menu view wont go back to icons even though thats what its set to, its view is list.

my v551 only has the option to vibe THEN ring.. is there a way to vibe AND ring?

Ya I found out this weekend my dads has Vibe & Ring and it has Vibe then Ring. So thats fixed. But not the fact that it doesn't have Icons in the menu anymore....but I'll put my seems on it because I am getting my V551 today anyways.

isn't there also an option to remove the icons? think either my v180 or seimens CF62 had that.
also another thing u could probably do (but not since you already found the option) is modify the ringtone and put dead space in front.

No, I mean icons on the menu...the desktop ones arent there anyways so it doesn't bother me of course, but its in the menu...its set to view: icons but shows list instead.
