Help. My daughter forgot her password. Is there a way to reset the phone to the factory password of 00000000. All of her vital numbers are on the sim card so erasing mem is not a problem. All help appreciated.

If you locked your SIM card and need a PUK code, this link may help:

Thanks for the reply. It's not the sim card because we can put mine or my son's in the phone and it still says it's locked and asks for the password. Any ideas?

I see, it is the Phone password and not PIN. I suggest you better contact T-mobile customer service for the reset code. If you prefer not to and would like to try other method. You may try the codes from the following thread, please note that no body will be responsible for what will happen to your phone. Mind you, you may end up having to send your phone back for service.

I'll probably kick myself for not knowing this but...how do I enter letters in the code. I tried holding the keys or finding a shift key. I had no problem entering codes that were numeric. Thanks for your patience.

Each dial keys is assigned with some letters, e.g. 2 for ABC, 3 for DEF and etc. If you want to type Help, it is same as 4357. I don't think it is case sensitive, so just forget about the shift key.

Glad to hear that. Thanks should go to the original authors who posted the valuable secret codes.
