I don't know, i was able to unlock my 1400 and my 4015, but those models aren't as new as the 9100. It's not on the list but iy might work with the settings from another handset
Can anyone tell me how to unlock this LG C2000 phone. My son broke his phone and they are telling me $200 and up for replacement. A friend gave me this LG from Cingular but I dont know how to unlock it or what the code is. Please someone help me I still have 1 1/2 yrs on this contract with this cell phone company.

I have a 9200 which is unlocked but I am having problems getting it to let me input the info for internet use. The fields seem to be locked out. Even the ones that are supposed to be user defined. I once got it to let me input but thanks to a misspelling I had to start over and now cannot get it to accept any info. Anyone have any ideas?
The LG F9100 is supposed to be hard locked and can only be unlocked via software at corporate store according to LG or Cingular. 
I found a place on ebay that will unlock phones and sim cards for a nominal fee. Check it out if you like.
