hi im sorry. dort of having difficulties. i sent a file to my phone and now when i try to open it, it hangs and restarts. how do i solve it without flashing my phone? will formatting the nand do it? there's a code for formatting the flash volume: #*3676# FORMAT FLASH VOLUME!!!
does anyone know how?

does the ringer has that 2 second increasing volume all the time, or infrequently? because my d500 only goes into increasing volume mode when im using it or when i JUST used it. i guess its a safety precaution. then it wouldnt blast the music when you're holding your phone or when its close to your ears. but when i leave it alone, it starts to ring LOUD.

Anyone can help me here?
I have a D500 but I want to upgrade the firmware to D508*Chinese version, but the worse part is I only have the cle files, i need the tfs files too. Anyone can help me out for the tfs files?
Can I use the D504 tfs files for the D508?
Any help will be great. Thanks for your help

Hi,
I have a small problem when I try to flash my D500.
I have the serialcable +9v battery, Corona downloader but when I switch on my phone, the program starts but hangs on Downloading the pre-Loader (1780 bytes).
After that it doesn't do a thing..

Okay, finally have the new firmware up and running.. FINALLY. It was driving me crazy..
Manyways, what is the red G in the top of my screen and how do I activate voice dialing? Or is that only possible from the voice command screen?

hi to all... i'm new here so please be gentle with me.. 
i've just flashed me d500 which was originally a pay & go phone (new) but i use it with my contract sim (orange uk).. i wanted to get rid of that silly orange menu thingy.. i unlocked it with winimei and flashed with corona downloader?? and the unbranded flash file at the top of this thread... it is fair to mention i flashed another file to it earlier which rendered the fone a door stop.. ;-( but after using the file from here the fone is back to life.. so thnx to all involved in making that availble.. now the 2 Q's.. 1) whats the differance if any between a d500 & a d500E?? and ... 2) more worryingly, altho' the 'orrible orange software has gone, so has my IMEI number??? is that normal? can i get it back?? please help.. the fone works fine tho'..
cool voice commands too..

sorted it now ... winimei reinstalled my original number... TFFT.. 
 more luck than judgment.. tnx anyways... still want to know the diff between d500 & d500E if any 1 kno's
