Do you have:
- The cable? Not the EasyStudio USB one..
- D500 Downloader 3.2?
- The firmware? And did you extract it with Winrar?

Manyways, what is the red G in the top of my screen and how do I activate voice dialing? Or is that only possible from the voice command screen? |
Hold the Menu Button than say Voice Dial. You can also Hold the PhoneBook button for Name Lookup.

if i upgrade my D500 to be D500E, will the EDGE wotk fine?
beacuse D500E is a phone by him self, and there is a topic here that give you the option to upgrade D500 to D500E.
in D500 there are no EDGE support, and D500E yes.
if i upgrade my D500 to D500E, the EDGE will work fine?
ThanX |
EDGE wil only work if your service provider supports it.

You can extract the .rar with WinRAR
www.rarlab.com
Are the Time, Date, Menu and Names transparent at the Standby display in that D5003X33F2 firmware?

Don & the forum buddy, can u pls give me some picture pinout to diy the D500 flashing cable.
As I read your post it doesn't need 9v external battery for flashing D500,as long as you have a data cable that have tx,rx & gnd. This cable refer to the 9pin comport cable or other type of cable?List of component especially the rs232 maxim Acpe 16 pin,1 uf cap,usb data cable & what else.I check through the component thru the stepane.aubert.free D500 cable.jpg basically I understand the diagram but a bit confuse how it's work on flashing.Base on the diagram the end product should have 1 end connect to phone whereby the usb cable tapped to.In the middle of this com cable there is a rs232 IC,am I right to describe the outcome this way & when flashing obviously 1 end to phone the other end to com port but how about usb part.Sorry if I mess up cause I been browsing & search a lot of post.Pls advice, thanks in advance.

5 ~ Rx
6 ~ Tx
8 and 11 ~ GND
This is the way I did it:
I checked if my siemens c60 datacable had a rx, tx and a gnd. It did then I checked which was which and I connected it to the 18 pin samsung header.
