Anyone have some good tips on taking good pics with the camera and video camera?? I found out you can change the max video length from 15 sec to max, but what is max? is it based on ur free space? any tips on that? Also i have probs with the camera that other ppl have also had. When i take a picture it looks really nice and detailed whole it asks where to save to, but then after selecting store in phone, when u go browse the phone the picture can sometimes be totalyl differnet, like blurring has appeared where it was totoally clear? Is there a way to avoid this? (btw i do have my pics set at hi res 640 X 480)

Also im planning to get a USB cable so i can upload all my videos and pictures, (and add mp3 tones), just wondering will the pictures and videos look much nicer once they are on the computer? how nice do the videos look? i was at this website (linked thru this forum) that showed a video taken by the SE z500a, and it was very good, and also some pictures that were really clear and such? I would assume the V551 would be on par with this? Thanks.

I get this a little bit I guess, but it doesn't exactly bug me. And I didn't know you could change video length though. If it bugs you then you should ask one of these fine owners that have fixed it how they didit. It only there was a shutter speed...

uh there i is think, lemem check, yah go to Camera, (not my pictures, but to the camera), then press the menu key, (three line thingy), then there are more options, if u go to pictures setup u can change..

Lighitng conditions (auto, indoor,s outdoors e.t.c)
Exposure - -2. -1. 0, 1, 2
Resolution
Shutter tone..

now i dunno what changin the exposure will do?

Exposure is the amount of light that the camera pics up. -2 -1 0 +1 +2
0 is the normal setting which is mid...If in a little darker area bump it up into the +'s and if outdoors leave at 0 or goto -1 or -2. Lighting conditions I usually leave on automatic and Resolution on High.

For me everything works fine, pictures are fine if I store before setting to background or anything.
Video can be extended simply but opening Video Camera, Menu>Videos Setup>Length: from MMS to Maximum
And thats about it...the quality is fine and all for me, just store to phone before doing any apply as tasks.
