at home screen hit menu key then right the way enter 048263* to get to opcode then type
18*0 then hit ok ( master reset )
18*1 then click ok ( master clear).
Post back with result, if not working will go another route to get it |
This didn't master clear/reset it. It only deleted everything in my phonebook, and put the icons and stuff back to the way they were.
Didn't even change the codes back to the orginal factory settings :/
Need to *clear* everything on the phone, since I am selling them.
I have a v300 and a v3 gsm

Find motokit to read the user codes and security code then you can do master rest and master clear.
The Rest will put settign back to factory setting.
The clear will wipe out everything that upi jave put in there unless you have chang it attrubute .

There is a way to unlock your phone if you forgot your 4 digit unlock code.
When the phone ask for the unlock code press the menu bar above the four way arrows. The one with the stripes. Then is ask for the 6 digit code. It is 000000 and this should unlock phone if it has not been changed. Be sure to go to the security setting and do the same to reset the 4 digit unlock code back to 1234 factory setting.
Hope this helps works on the one I buy off ebay thats locked.

As well, I'm traveling next week and need my phone. Cingular told me that they couldn't do it due to it being a Moto and that there were no master reset passwords, but it sounds like a load of bull to me.
Please help. This is driving me mad. |
