What mp3 splitter are you using? I am using a compressor, dbPowerAmp to reduce the filesize, frequency and bitrate.
Question is, what splitter are you using?

Audacity.... think its not for PCs. (I have an Apple iMac G4) Works good though!!

audacity is an open source program that's been compiled for Windows, Mac, linux, BSD, and probably some other OSes. It's free to download here

I use Adobe audition now, but audicity and mp3 cutter both work great.

Agreed MP3 splitter is pretty simple, im all about the adobe stuff though lol
