I used to get online with an unloced Siemens phone that I had. Unfortunately it was riding around in my laptop back and got smashed.
I purchased an X475 and bought an OEM cable off of ebay. I got it
today and plugged it in. XP recognized it as a USB modem but I couldn't
get it to work. I deleted it and now I can't get it to even do that again.
Any ideas? I think if I can get it to do that again I'll be able to get it
to do what I want.

Thanks, I did get it to show a "GPRS USB device" under the Modems tab. The cable came with no
software.
I'll try to find it. thanks.

I had a Siemens S46 that I used to use for this, it worked great. Somehow it got smashed while riding around in my laptop case through two semesters. I'm watching Ebay for another one, it may be an easier way. I just have to swap the SIM card. I really would like to get this working . . . the data cable for the Samsung has a charger plug in.

Nope, not really. I was just saying that if worse comes to worse, I'll just get another S46. I'm leaving Saturday to travel all summer (Public Relations for my college) and I'd like to have this
worked out by then. I posted in the Siemens forum and asked if anyone had an S46 for sale.
Also, I tried to find Easy GPRS on the Samsung site but no luck.
