My fiance and I had the family plan from verizon for more than two years and now we would like to change. What is actually the best family plan to have the maimum minutes to call mobile to mobile, to be able to call from other states, to have the better services and to have the best mobile phone (TO CALL !!! we don't care about the camera, etc. we use a phone to call, it may seem stupid but that our way to use it so we want the best batteries with the best network coverage) ? Thank you for your answers

Well... T-Mobile prides itself on being the best value for rate plans in the United States so here is a list of prices for their FAMILY TIME PLANS and a street level coverage map (just click on national coverage map in top right hand corner) so you can make sure that they have good coverage in your area.

Thank you for your answer xXxSamsungxXx but the coverage of T-mobile is really poor Soon they will rent the antenna with their plan and you will have to carry it to be sure to be covered no ??
Is there a good deal with a provider who has an honest network ??
Is that true that it's Alltel who has the best coverage ??

As far as Nationwide coverage goes Verizon is #1
T-Mobile and Cingular are tied for #2. Coverage will vary from provider to provider depending on your location. Most service providers have a coverage map on there site and a full list of family time plans. I would check out alltel if you want and cingular, then Verizon (great coverage/expensive phones & plans).

I checked the coverage map for verizon, cingular and T-mobile, in my area Cingular is good, Verizon very good and T-mobile is pretty bad
BUt as you say good coverage/(bad plan-phone) so that's a tricky choice

Decision you'll need to make lol depends on how much you want to pay for the very good coverage.

I thought t-mobile had bad coverage because of their map, but after furtherresearch, i find it is just a different kind of map, also they have a way to check addresses to see if they are on that coverage, my teen kids live in the boonies in Mo.
I THOUGHT 4 SURE THEY WOULDN'T BE COVERED! I was wrong when I put their address in it was covered to my amazement!
Hopefully the link below will work, so you may check a few addresses too.
Good Luck!

the best way to determine what is best for you is to determine how many minutes you use as a group... where you have past billings look back at your bills and write down your day minutes and night and weekend minutes for each phone... add the day minutes to get your peak useage...once you have that number go shopping...give yourself a bit of a cushion in minutes...
for coverage in an urban area.... one is as good as another in most cases...
in lesser populated areas that can vary to either extreme...I would go to a dealer in your local area... try to find one that sells service for several carriers...(Cingular, Tmobile, verizon,sprint)...talk to him... ask what works best in your area..
regardless of carrier what you need to know as a consumer is your average useage.....
most family plans have MtM in some fashion...thats the whole idea... what you shopuld look for is if the MtM is limited to your family group or to all from that provider
