On internet I found some plans with much more phones free than if you go directly to the provider like here for exemple:
http://www.cellularchoices.net/calling_plans/family/plans
What's the trick ??
What's the best way to find a good plan with a good phone (like the Sony Ericsson Z500a with 600 minutes talk time and 12 days in standby !!!!!!!!!!!!) ??

Try going to the service provider direct. If you have a problem with one of those third party websites your on your own do not call your service provider as they cannot help you. Plus sometimes they have stipulations like you cant change your plan for X amount of days your you have to pay the X amount of dollars. Better off going to the Service Provider in my opinion.

Ok Thank you
The fact is that I like the Roll-over for the minutes done by Cingular anf the fact that you may be able to have a sony ericksson phone with an huge capacity battery... but the reviews here are really bad for Cingular

You have to realize that the customer base that is actually posting here is a fraction of the customer base that cingular has, and its generally not the happy customers that post on online forums its the pissed ones. I dont think that there is anything wrong with cingular but I have to shamelessly promote T-Mobile as I work there lol.

Yep but I also found somewhere here a post with the poll of the complaints for the service and the billing and Cingular was in a bad shape, at the top (or close to) of the list of the complaints' number

Right I remember seeing that post, It was only a couple hundered per MILLION I believe. If you dont want to go with cingular you can always look at other service providers T-Mobile and Verizon faired alright on that poll I believe.

The trick to super cheap or free cell phones as Point.com points out (ha ha) is that the providers are busy running their networks and aren't focused on marketing the phones. On the other hand, online stores have little to no overhead and so can "make the sale" a lot cheaper. So they can undercut the carrier, but because the carrier pays them a commission for every new customer, they (sites like Cellular Choices), still profit.

I checked out the site you mentioned and they have your phone free. What makes this a killer deal IMHO is that getting the cell phone for free is not contingent on sending in a rebate
