If you start making videos bigger you'll run into problems, memory is not vast on these phones and you'll learn rather fast that a 1:30 movie would eat your memory alive. I don't use video as much after I noticed what it did to the memory, but also I don't believe it can be done in the first place.
I usually keep a 2-3 minute clip on my phone at all times. I have noticed memory issues as well, although nothing that turning the phone off and back on won't resolve.
I saw today that Verizon offers a Moto phone that records 1:30 of video. It has 10mb internal memory and a slot for more memory. I was under the impression that referred to the equivilent of hard drive space on a pc.
I'm still pretty much a newbie to this scene and wasn't sure how different the firmware was from phone to phone.
Speaking of Verizon.... Old Fool, (or anyone else) can a Verizon phone be unlocked and then work with the Cingular network? The people at Verizon said no. They told me that Cingular is an all digital network, and that thiers worked on digital, analog and pcs... but of course I figure that thier job is to sell me a new phone.

Only yes if the phone is both GSM/TDMA only a couple out there that I know of and I believe that Verizon has 1. The Motorola V635 is suppose to record video until the memory runs out (no time limit)!!!! wicked lol.

Is it not Samsung D500 can take over an hour of video?.
I have found that there is fone will use both system GSM and TDMA but the provider always disabling one physicaly
I wanted to be able to use my v551 on the verizon network and the rep I spoke with said it was impossible. She also said that you can't unlock a phone. haha
Well although unlocking it is possible, it will serve you no purpose trying to make a GSM function in anyway on a CDMA network. And sorry to say that because CDMA Moto's aren't very good in my opinion.
