Also is there any indication that the phone is actuall charging ?
so far the only way i have thought that the phone is charging is because
1. It does not show unable to charge
2. It does not show the blue light on the outside throught the charging interval

which window ? the one on the outside or the one on inside ?
sorry for so many questions. but my cell does not show any such thing, just that sometimes it does not show "Unable to charge"
Is there any one else who has such a problem ? and has anyone found a workaround for it ?

Thanks

I had this problem with 2 different chargers and phones. Finally I got Cingular to send me a new charger. It worked the first couple times, but then I got the same inconsistent results: sometimes it would charge, sometimes it would say 'unable to charge', sometimes it wouldn't even recognize the charger. I can't say I've found the problem, but I can get it to work if I eventually connect and disconnect the charger enough times.
