i am soooooo confused. i read everything on downloading mp3s onto my d500 but i can't seem to get it right. i have a usb cable and easystudio but it doesn't work. i would like to download mp3s onto my phone so that i can have the entire song and use it as my ringtone instead of just downloading ringtones. somebody, please help me!!!!!!!

I presume your both having the same problem in that Easy studio wont find your phone
Stick with it its worth it, I had loads of trouble getting mine to work, only sorry I can't tell you what did it in the end, play around with com settings and device manager and try reinstalling device, failing that use usb. It wont be your cable its samsungs crappy software had same problems with P510. Good Luck

well - i spent 4hrs yesterday playing about with settings etc - and another 3hrs today - my patience is non-existent now - i tried changing com settings but nothing happened - real weird- my dad tried too -he usually a whizz at this stuff.

nothing happened for me either. i don't get it at all. easy studio should be called never easy studio. i've tried everything but i still cant get it to work. i still need help!!!!

me too - i am sending the cable back to get money back on it and just do it the ling way:
downloading stuff i want from net onto my partners Nokia via the Nokia Cable software - then sending it to my phone via Bluetooth - very long winded but only way i can get stuff. Samsung is very very rubbish compared to nokia

i have the same phone and am finding it very difficult to find the programme and even get the cmputer to recognise my phone is attached wat has worked for other people???

It is very easy to upload/download files to/from your d500 but you should use recommended software for this phone. You can find everything you need here:
